The Lower Limb – What could surprise us?

We will be delighted to meet you at the scientific conference organized by the Lubuskie Orthope-dics Center, which is taking place at the Castle of the Order of St. John in Łagów.

The conference opens in:

Dear Colleagues,

last April, as a result of close cooperation between the Department of General Orthopedics, Mus-culoskeletal Oncology and Trauma Surgery at the University of Medical Sciences in Poznań and the Lubuskie Orthopedics Center in Świebodzin, we organized a scientific meeting at the Castle of the Order of St. John in Łagów. Thus, we have returned to carrying on the tradition of holding orthope-dic conferences, which was initiated by LORO back in 2006. Bound by this commitment, we have already scheduled our next symposium for 2019. We are meeting on April 12-13th to discuss chal-lenging diagnostic and clinical situations in the lower limb conditions with the invited speakers. For instance, we will touch upon the problems related to the endoprosthetic hip and knee replace-ment, with particular emphasis on periprosthetic fractures. We will also present solutions to diag-nostic and therapeutic outcomes of foot injuries and disorders that may baffle some orthopedists.

Another compelling reason for taking part in our conference is the official endorsement by the Polish Arthroscopic Society.

A high dose of interesting presentations and lively discussions will be balanced with practical work-shops, which have always been a distinguishing feature of our symposia.

Come unravel the mysteries of a medieval castle, visiting one of the most breathtaking conference rooms in the country, meeting the most eminent specialists in diagnosing and treating the lower limb conditions… that is the invited speakers as well as you – our guests.

Yours truly,

Professor Jacek Kruczyński, PhD
Marcin Sergiew, PhD
